Some weddings just stand out. Sarah and Brad’s Club Continental wedding represented that to me. The color pallet was so bold. The deep purple and rich vintage gold felt so glamorous and elegant. Sarah wanted a true 1920’s inspired wedding. From the beaded detailing on her dress to the crystal headband that adorned her perfectly styled hair, you could feel the beauty of the 20’s era.
There were accents of purple feathers in the bridesmaids’ hair. I just loved how it looked with the soft sage green dresses!
Golden crystal candelabras and candlesticks, with matching dessert stands added a touch of old world romance to the guest’s tables. Purple (my favorite) chargers, gold napkins and sparkling ivory linens completed the decor.
Sarah’s bouquet had the sweetest touch of white lace and purple ribbon. The loose green foliage gave the bouquet an added hint of whimsey.
And can we just talk about the purple crushed velvet linen for the sweetheart table? It just POPPED in the room. And it paired beautifully with our ivory vintage settee. The mix of ivory, gold and purple linens helped each table stand-out on its own, but still tie in with the color theme.
